New PhD Scholar - Sirithi Medagoda

Vision Research Foundation warmly welcomes our newest PhD Scholarship recipient, Sirithi Megadoda, to the VRF team. Sirithi recently completed her master’s degree under VRF Senior Research Fellow, Dr. William Schierding, studying genetics and how we approach diseases like glaucoma, a leading cause of blindness worldwide. Her research, Unravelling glaucoma using modern genetics, was published in NZ Optics Magazine.
